Bureaux de l'entreprise ACM

1988: Founding of ACM in Malmedy

In 1988 the married couple Huby from Ligneuville founded the company ACM. The company mainly manufactured trailers and semitrailers in a rented 600 m2 assembly hall. In addition, repairs and modifications to vehicles were carried out.
The company grew quickly and employed its first member of staff.

1994: Relocation to current company premises

Management decided after only five years to build their own company buildings. They found this 21.000 m2 piece of land in the commercial area of Kaiserbaracke, which offered ACM new possibilities for expansion. At the time of the move in 1994 ACM employed 17 members of staff.

1997-1998: Continuous development

Over time, the construction of trailers was superseded more and more by other areas of work, amongst which steel and stainless steel welding construction. The building of a second hall (1997) and the creation of a planning office (1998) contributed to the development of the company.
